Reflection & Review

Overall, this project took a lot of time. I ran into even more difficulties than last time because I had to get my computer reimaged, and I lost all of my annotations. I had to restart my project. When I finally finished, I was glad because I'm ready to move on. On to a new project!

The Summer Set

The Summer Set has always written songs that I can either relate to, or they contain catchy rhythms and lyrics that are impossible to get out of your head. For my 20% time, I am analyzing the lyrics of each song for different literary devices. After I finish that, I'm going to write my review of the entire album. Knowing that The Summer Set is my favorite band, this is going to be a breeze.

I used the writing standard 11.R.3.1: Students can analyze and explain literary devices within text.

Overall, I wanted to be a little farther than I am now. I ran into multiple difficulties because all of the websites that I came across were blocked. In order to get the lyrics, I used my home computer and emailed it to myself. It's taking a lot longer than I thought it would. I'm going to continue to this project because I'm not even close to being done.
